Penske 8983 double-adjustable piggyback rear shock — compression adjuster at the reservoir, rebound at the lower eyelet. Originally sprung for a 160–170 lb rider. Just serviced by Triple T Suspension. Since the service: two track sessions plus about 30 minutes of run time at Daytona International Speedway.

Fits: 2017–2020 Yamaha YZF-R6.
